Simple steps to using the Master Technique

First Step: Begin by sketching out the portrait using only two colors: Burnt Sienna and Ultramarine Blue. And keep the style lose since you'll be adjusting a lot in this stage.

Second Step: Similar to first, start refining the lines of the portrait and the light source.

Third Step: After completing the under painting, add color. To create skin tones mix cadmium red, cadmium yellow, and white. For the shadowy area stick with dark colors(black, burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, or raw umber). If you have dark skin then use yellow ocher, deep cadmium red, and violets.

Quote by Pablo Picasso

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." (1881 - 1873)

A quote I thought I should share...I believe this saying is so true, especially in this time period which is full of academic testing and very little creativity.
